Do any of your firms have a policy that touches on gender pronouns, whether generally or with regard to using them in communications (i.e. in signature blocks)? Even if you haven’t adopted a formal policy, does your firm allow employees to place their preferred gender pronouns on their signature blocks and, if so, do you have a mechanism for them to do so? An example would be an attorney including the line: “Pronouns: he/him/his” in his signature block. I appreciate any information.
